Use page breaks to control where a page ends and where a new page begins. Insert a page break Place the cursor where you want to start a new page. Select Insert > Page Break. Change page break settings Select Layout. In the Paragraph group, select the small arrow. In the Paragraph dialog box, select Line and Page Breaks. Under Pagination, choose the option that works best for you: Widow/Orphan control Keep with next Keep lines together Page break before Delete a page break Select聽Home > Show/Hide . This will display non-printing characters鈥攑aragraph markers, section breaks, page breaks, etc.鈥攖hat you may want to see while you鈥檙e working on your document.
